Jeremy, Becky & Family [Maryland Family and Child Photographer]

When the weather outside is cold you definitely have to find different ways to keep warm!  I did just that with the Jeremy, Becky and their two boys on our Saturday afternoon session at Tuckahoe State Park in Denton.  We jumped up and down to keep warm, played on the playground, you name it!  I had a great time getting to know this family and I look forward to more sessions with them in the future!

Enjoy your sneak peek, Jeremy and Becky! Thank you again for a great afternoon session!

Erica & Tim [Delaware Engagement Photographer]

Have you ever met a couple and within a few minutes with them you can tell that they are meant for one another?  That's how I felt yesterday at Erica and Tim's engagement session at Killens Pond State Park in Felton.  I had met them both before (Tim's sister, Emma is one of my best friends), but this was the first time I really got to talk to them one on one.
We had a blast walking the trails at Killens Pond and taking photos.  Tim and Erica were willing to try almost anything. They even walked out on a tree that had fallen over a narrow part of the pond.  Tim also carved their initials and wedding date in one of the trees.  I joked to them that we'll have to come back to that spot every year and get another picture.
You can see the love these two have for one another in these photos.

Thank you Erica and Tim for an enjoyable session!  I cannot wait for your wedding, but hopefully we'll be able to hang out before then!

The K Family's Christmas Portraits and Trevor turns 2! [Dover, Delaware Child and Family Photographer]

Most of you by now know the K Family!  They are good friends of ours and make a gorgeous family!  I went over to their house last weekend to take their Christmas portraits, as well as Trevor's 2nd birthday portraits. (Side note: where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday Erica had Riley their oldest!).  Erica had the house decorated beautiful for Christmas. The kids were more then willing to let me took a few outdoor photos of them. As always I had a wonderful time with this family! Riley and Trevor are beyond adorable and quite photogenic as you can see!

Hope you enjoy the pics, Erica!  I am so, so, sorry about the delay! Thank you again!!!

Cindy & Her Adorable Family [Milford, DE Family Session]

Cindy is one of  my former co-workers.  I miss her stories and most of all her sarcasm.  I could always count on Cindy for a good laugh when I was having a bad day.  I jumped at the opportunity to take pictures of her and her family at Cindy's gorgeous home in Milford.  It was great seeing Cindy's family and meeting her mom and sister who I had never met before.  I also loved, loved, loved Cindy's granddog, Gizmo, her daughter Jenn's dog. Gizmo was eager to pose for pictures and made the perfect pet model!

Enjoy your sneak peek, Cindy and I can't wait to catch up again soon!

Cathy & Ricky [Delaware Maternity Photographer]

I had my first maternity session yesterday and I was lucky to have such a great couple to work with.  I have known Cathy for years, we rode the bus together way back when I was in middle school and she was in high school. We later found out that we are distant cousins (my grandmother and her father are cousins).  Then a few years ago, I met Ricky though some mutual friends of ours.

Cathy and Ricky are a real life Brady Bunch.  Ricky has four kids (two boys, two girls) and Cathy has two boys. Together they are having another boy, Chase due early next year.  I was excited that I was able to capture such a special moment in both of their lives!

Congrats, Cathy and Ricky!  I hope you love your sneak peek.  It was great seeing the two of you again and I look forward to meeting Chase!  He's going to be a lucky boy to have such wonderful parents and a loving group of siblings!

If you or someone you know is expecting, I am offering discounts on maternity and newborn sessions!  Contact me today and be sure to become a fan of Malinda Joyce Photography on Facebook! The T Family [Delaware Family & Children Photographer]

One of the things I love the most about on-location photography is that you can photograph people in the element they are most comfortable in.  Which is why I was happy when Davette contacted me and suggested we do a session on their family farm.

The farm's red barn made for the perfect backdrop to some great pictures.  I loved meeting Davette, her husband and their three daughters. I loved this session and I look forward to working with the T family in the future!   Thank you, Davette, enjoy your sneak peek!
