Andrew, Ashley & Aubree [Delaware Family and Children Photographer]

This Halloween morning, I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew, Andrew and their 14 month old daughter, Aubree who is the most stylish toddler I have ever met. We had perfect weather for our session at Killens Pond State Park.

Check out Miss Aubree's boots!  I fell in love with these and now I'm on a search to find Cecilia a pair.

Isn't Aubree adorable?  Thank you Ashley and Andrew for such a fun session! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Heidi & Dwayne [Delaware & Maryland Engagement and Family Photographer]

The very first family I ever photographed that was not my own was Heidi and her then boyfriend, Dwayne's family in Fall of 2009.  Now, a year later Heidi and Dwayne are engaged and have a wedding date set in March of next year!  I was very honored when Heidi asked me to take her and Dwayne's engagement pictures, along with shoot their wedding next year.

We decided to combine the engagement session with a fall family session with Dwayne's kids.  We did the session at Wye Mills Park in Wye Mills, Maryland.  When I took classes at Chesapeake College, I drove past this park numerous times and no mater what season I was amazed by it's beauty.

It started off as a cool morning, but as we started the session the sun decided to come out and warm us up a little.

First off some of the family shots:

Then some shots of the future Mr. & Mrs.

And last but not least the bling:
Thanks Heidi and Dwayne!  I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek and I cannot wait for your March wedding!

The T Family [Delaware Beach Family & Children Photographer]

Usually when I photograph a family or a couple that I have never met before, I'm a little nervous at first. Yesterday though when I met the T Family for a session down to Cape Henlopen State Park, I was immediately put at ease.  Melanie, the mom was so kind and down to earth.  From the first e-mail she sent me, I knew that this family would be fun to photograph! They were willing to do whatever I asked of them, and even Aaron, Melanie's husband was open to my silly ideas.  Their two kids, Kayla and Nathan were two of the sweetest kids I have ever met.

It was hard to narrow down this sneak peek to just a few photos, so I added more then I usually do.

Can you tell which ones were the silly ones?  Melanie, thank you so much for contacting me!  I had such a great time and enjoyed meeting your family.  I hope you enjoy the sneak peek and happy early birthday!!!!

Shannon & Josh [Delaware Couples Photographer]

Shannon and Josh were such a fun couple to work with.  We met down at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes and had perfect weather for a session.

This last picture is one of my favorites, they were doing a pose I suggested and Shannon kept on laughing.  Thank you Josh and Shannon for a a great session!  I hope you enjoy these pictures for years to come..

The H Family [Maryland Children's Photographer]

This weekend I had the opportunity to catch up with some distant cousin's on my father's side of the family.  Brandy, my dad's cousin's daughter had contacted about taking photos of her daughter, Allie and her niece, Hailey. I suggested Curtis Harvey Memorial Park in Greensboro for the session. I knew with the leaves changing it would make the perfect backdrop!  Luckily Brandy and her brother, Lee agreed.

They had just bought the girls' Halloween costumes, so when Brandy asked if we could get photos of the girls in their costumes, of course I said yes!

Hailey as Tinkerbell

Allie and Hailey were perfect models, little Hailey loved the camera and whenever she heard the clicking sound she would smile and clap!   Thank you, Brandy, Lee and Felicia (Lee's girlfriend)!  Enjoy the sneak peek!  Hopefully it won't be another 5 years before I see you two again (funerals don't count), especially you now know where I live! If you are interested in booking fall session with me, check out my specials and contact me today!

Katie & her girls [Middletown, Delaware Family Photographer]

One of my favorite fall activities is going to the pumpkin patch and picking that perfect pumpkin to bring home and carve.  I have not had the chance to go to the pumpkin patch with my family yet (we will this coming Saturday), however I did get the pleasure to go to a pumpkin patch with Katie and her three girls.  I had such a great time with Katie and her girls, Miss Hattie who will be four on Halloween and twins, Meredith and Madeline who just turned two on October 1st.

We went to Filasky's Pumpkin Patch in Middletown, which is practically in Katie's backyard.

Hattie, the big sister.
Meredith, the oldest of the twins

And last but not least, the little burst of energy and the youngest of the twins, Miss Madeline
Momma and her girls
Hattie being the helpful big sister
Sampling corn before mommy took it away.

As you can see Katie definitely has her hands full!  I had a great time chasing after the girls during our session, they were so much fun to work with.  Thank you, Katie and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Meet Cecilia [Delaware Children Photographer]

On a perfect fall afternoon last week I decided to take my very energetic 18 month old daugher, Cecilia out for a walk in our [very small] development.  Although with Cecilia it was more of a run.  As soon as she saw me get my camera ready to take a picture she ran in the other direction.  I did manage to get a few a good ones though:

This next one gets me every time, she looks so independent.  My baby is growing up.
Cecilia has a love for shoes (I have no idea where she gets that from), here are her favorite "boots" which she insists on putting on even when she has her pajamas on.
This one is my absolute favorite.  She looks almost angelic here.  Notice I said almost.

I love this girl!  She keeps me on my feet.  When I am having a bad day all she has to do is flash me that big smle and my day gets a lot better.

The C Family [Delaware Family Photographer]

My second session yesterday was with the C Family, Greg, Erin and their little blue eyed beauty, J who just turned 1.  They live right around the corner from us and they wanted to do the session at a local farm which was only a few miles away.  I loved the farm idea and I think the pictures turned out gorgeous!! There is no doubt, Miss J is going to grow up being up a little country girl!

Greg and Erin, I hope you love these pictures as much as I do.  Thank you again and we definitely have to get J and Cecilia together for a play date very soon!

Again, if you want to book a fall session with me, please check out  my fall portrait specials!

The K Family [Dover, Delaware Family Photographer]

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day!  I had the opportunity to do two family sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  My first session was the K Family, Jason, Erica and their two little ones, Little Miss R who is three and the adorable T, who will be two next month.  We did the session at Silver Lake in Dover, the kids had a blast looking at the ducks and turtle in the lake and of course while we were there they had to play on the playground.

Thank you, Erica and Jason for letting me photograph your beautiful family!   I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!  If you would like to book a fall session for your family, please look at my fall specials here.
